Moved to higher altitiute

Short story... I just bought a 2000 Bonne with the supercharged 3.8 from the little old lady in Texas. Had it shipped to Colorado and the CEL lit within a short trip around the neighborhood. Do I need a computer re-flash or can I disconnect the battery for a period of time to see if it resets?

Certainly you can reset the light, but some problem caused it and if you don't correct that, it'll probably come back on. A reflash won't help you at all. Find out what code is in it before you erase it.

That was my other thought as well, a quick trip by the local parts store for a read by the inexperienced parts counter monkey (all I need is the code though)....
