My 99 chevy goes crazy when it is under 32 degrees out, all the dash lights, battery, abs, check engine, brake. flash at times and it wont idle, the truck will shut off. I had the computer replaced, no help. When it is acting up it will not connect to diagnostic computer and once it warms up and running good it shows no codes, any help would be great. thanks

Possible ignition switch but it could be a loose terminal that looses contact caused by low temps. This could be very difficult to find. I would check all fuses for power when its hot and everything is working. Then check again when it is cold and messing up to see if any of the fuses that were hot are not. That might give an idea of what circuit is loosing power.

My local chevy dealer put a new battery and computer in and checked the terminals, could it be on the other side of the wire, The ignition switch I noticed is a little wore out but I put a heat gun on it and warmed it a little while it was messing up, but it didnt help. IM just going crazy with this and already spent about $800 with no fix.. Thnaks for the help and any more would be appreciated. thanks again. Jason
