Keyless Entry Responses

I am just wondering if there is any way you can reprogram your keyless entry responses.For example when you lock it from a remote, it will honk at you or when you unlock it, the parking lights will flash. I know that on certain models of 03's and up this is possible. I have a 2000 Silverado and I am wanting to change what happens when I push these buttons. Is this possible?

check your manual, there may be a section on entering programming mode to chance those settings. those vehicles with a DIC and the computer buttons can usually change them on the fly, those without resort to programming mode.
