2000 Z71 Idle Info

Hi

I have a 2000 Z71 with a 5.3L engine. I have noticed that when I am in parked and the engine is at idle 500rpm I can feel a little vibration. It will idle fine for a few seconds then a faint vibration then idle fine for a few seconds then a faint vibration or shudder feeling and it will continue to do this while in park and at idle. Does anybody know what could cause this to happen.

my truck is same year and same engine with 145,00kms and does same thing, im not too worried about it. i just put valvoline syn power 5w30 in and am very happy with how much smoother the engine runs.

I also have a 2000 Silverado with the 5.3. It has 85,000 on it right now and it has some of the same symptoms as yours heynow68. Would changing to a synthetic oil help that much? I use 5 quarts of Castrol GTX 10W-40 and one quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer. Should I use something eles?
