2007 six disc

just wondering if anyone knew whether or not a 6 disc out of a 2007 will fit in a 2003 silverado

i'm not 100% sure but i think 07 and 03 uses different wiring and is made by different company. 03 is made by delphi and 07 is made by denso.

if it is one of the new body style ones than i can almost 100% assuradley say no. I believe the new ones are a CAN bus and the old ones well, aren't. Pleasesomeone correct me if i am wrong
