hard starting

just starting have problems on first start in the morning this winter.

during the day, all starts are normal.

initial start in the morning is, it cranks but won't start.

I have to pump the accelerator several times and then it will start.

This morning was the hardest to start and it was also the coldest night we've had.

Any one had this problem?

it is a 2003 GMC Yukon.

duh, forgot to mention it is a 2003 GMC Yukon XL.

What's your fuel pressure when you turn the key on? And does it HOLD that pressure? I'd get that checked first, as these trucks have to hold something like 65 PSI with the key off to be able to start. One pound under and they just won't start. It could be your regulator or your pump if you have low fuel pressure with the key on.
