15w-40 Chevron Delo 400....

OEM Champion Filters... I will not use any other filter besides the OEM or the AC Delco. I don't want to deal with the warranty hassles if there was an oil filter related problem. The extra $5.00 premium for OEM is well worth it, especially if you pop an aftermarket filter and hatch the engine. JMHO. :sideways:

Yes,

most diesel owners, no matter what flavor they are driving will be using Rotella or Delo400.

Where you buy it makes a big difference tho.

Some places will rip you good.

Wal-Mart is the diesel owners friend. They carry both of these oils for cheap $5 something a gallon.

Also, occasionally they carry pennzoil HD 15W40 for diesels in the same price range.

yea i like rotella t my thing is it looks like everyone uses the ac oil filter.. sounds like i will stick with that one.. thanks guys.

Amsoil Series 3000 Diesel Synthetic 5w-30 year round. Stock filters. Amsoil has theirs out now so I will change to that the next change.

Rotella T and AC filters for me. Only thing I don't like about Rotella; it stinks for about 200 miles after an oil change.

yea the rosmella does stink! my dodges stink the most. i had to relocate the blow bottles because it was so bad.. im changing mines this weekend so i will go get some ac filters.. why is there so much flack with the fram filters.. i have never ran anything but fram. on all my trucks no problems.. is there something im messing???
