exhaust and towing

hey guys. i recently inherited a 2001 gmc sierra rcsb with 4.8l. i want to get exhaust on it. im 95% going to go with a single in dual out borla. i had flowmaster 40 on my v6 s-10 and had them on my 4.6l mustang gt. too much noise. about how much torque will i be losing going with the duals? i do tow my boat on the weekends. probably 10-15 miles round trip. it probably weighs less than 3500 fully loaded with fuel and ice and tackle. the truck tows it like its almost not even there. so if i really dont have too much to worry about with the loss of torque?

As stated above, if you don't increase your dual outlets' size and keep them smallish, then you won't lose much. The problems alot of people discover come in to play when they go from 2.5" pipes to 3" pipes and do no other mods.
