Speedometer calibration?!

OK guys, here's the story. Last saturday I was driving home from getting my taxes done. I stop at a stop sign and realize that my speedometer is stuck on 20 and never fell back to 0. I tapped on the glass and it did fall back down to 10. It never fell further until I shut off my truck, then it did fall back to 0. From sat. - tuesday my speedometer read about 10 mph over what I was actually doing. This is why I thought it just might need recalibrated. I took it to the Chevy shop tuesday morin. and told them my problem. They looked it over and said I did need the whole new cluster. Today I pick up my truck after work and it seems fine driving home. One thing I know is that when I pulled into my driveway it still said I was going 15 mph, which is obviously rediculous. So, did the shop just want to replace my cluster to charge Chevy HQ, did it/does it still need recalibrated, or am I just being paranoid? I plan on taking it out again soon for a little joy ride to see if its on. Has anyone had similar problems? I planned on putting on white gauge faces, but now I'm totally freaked out. HELP!

Ya I have been having that problem for about a month now. I got use to it.. But ya, its the whole housing, or cluster.. whatever. They said its like 400 bucks. Thats hurting my pocket.

Yep, the cluster is still bad. I've had 2 clusters replaced within the last year. I think it was about $360 for mine.
