Do GM/Helm Offer a Shop Manual for My Silverado?

I've not had to do any work on my Silverado until now; I want to do the steering shaft replacement without the dealer; last time I took it in before my warranty expired they would NOT replace/lube it... 8,000 miles later, it's clunking like crazy and I've lost what little trust I had in them.

 

Need a good shop/service manual. Would like something comparable to the chevy-branded shop manuals that I have for my two vettes (69 and 80)... I believe they were published by Helm/Helmes for GM; good quality construction.

Perform a search here and over at the dieselpace.com and you can probably find detailed instructions with photos and don't need to buy any manuals for the ISS R & R.
