Tail Lights

hey, i just recently bought a 99 gmc sierra slt ex. cab and was wondering if tail lights from a 03+ silverado will directly replace the ones on my truck. ive seen them on a truck of the same year as mine but dont know if they needed to do modifications. ne help would be appreciated.

They'll fit fine, however the Silverado light has one more bulb, a running light on the side. You'll either need the Chevy's wiring harness, wire in the extra bulb, or live without it. Your Tailights, brake, turnsignle, and backuplights will work just fine.

It'll end up looking just like an '03 or newer.
