Below is the freeze data from the scanner. I replaced the secondary igination items and had the air intake looked and no one can seem to find out whats wrong with my van. Its a GMC g2500 5.7 2000 cargo van. I also sprayed the engine with carb cleaner and starting fluid all over to see if it get sucked in through a vacum leak and i got no difference in the engine. I have one of my catalytic converters hollowed out and the dip stick is missing from my trans. I have asked around about the dip stick and cat and everyone states that does not matter. During my emission test i failed from having a 2700 hydrocarbon level when 300 is the limit to pass. I have an orange vacum line hanging under my dash that is disconected and i cant find anywhere it would connect to, i will enclose a photo of the vacum line if the site allows me to. Here is the freeze data from the 0174 code. Thank you very much for your time and knowledge.

The orange vacuum line goes to the ac control head to the air inlet valve. If it is not connected it could be what is cuaseing the two codes. Both codes you have are for vehicle running lean and with this vacuum line off it could be why it runns lean.

Far as failing the hydrocarbon emissions test, that it do to the catalytic converter bring hollowed out and it would not set these codes.
