LTZ Chrome Grille, door handles, mirror caps?

looking at a 07 Tahoe...the LTZ package comes STANDARD with the chrome appearance - grille, door handles, and mirror caps. how come some LTZs do not have the chrome extras and some do. It is a STANDARD part of the LTZ package according to Chevrolet? Anyone know?

I can answer that....sorta,It was a mid-year change,early build '07 Tahoe/Suburban/Avalanche's with the LTZ decor package did not have the extra chrome "goodies".

I don't remember the specific build date when they changed over but I believe sometime in August is when all LTZ pkg. trucks got the extra chrome goodies.

Do the trucks get it as well, or is it just the tahoes and burbs??

Thank God they didn't when we bought ours. My '07 Silverado and wife's 07 Tahoe (both LTZ) came with body color handles and whatnot. The less chrome, the better, IMO.

No,Trucks do not get them,Just the SUV's.

If yours is on order, then you will be "chromed". As said, it was a running change that the Tahoe and Suburban got first, and just recently so did the Avalanche (it didn't for a while). Mainly, I think, because loaded LT3's looked identical to LTZ's and they wanted something to differentiate them more.
