Oil Pressure Gauge Question

I was looking at (buying) an 02 2500 HD 8.1 liter and noticed the oil pressure gauge sitting at almost 80 while the engine was idling at about 800 RPM. The guage goes from 0 to 80. First of all, is this normal. And second of all, what should the oil pressure read through various RPMs. Thanks in advance as always.

My 8.1 at hot idle reads about quarter scale and going down the road about half scale.

Truck has close to 30k on it. No oil adding between changes and no cold piston slap.

I did not mention this oil pressure reading was seen in a picture of the dash taken while the engine was idling. I do not know if the truck was warm or cold, nor do I know if the engine was revved several times before the picture was taken.

In the pic the engine temp is cold. If the pic was taken on a 0* day, then I would say that 75 psi is possible on startup.
