I will say that Zaino is probably the ONLY product I have ever bought that really lived up to all the hype!!

I dont think an S-10 can get any shinier than yours....

Mervz, are you using Z2 or Z5? And are you using the Z6? Also, what towels are you using? Truck looks sweet! Can't wait to get in the Zaino swing again. Two weeks I will be back on the Zaino. Last coat was last summer and the water still beads like I did it yesterday. Great stuff! (although nothng yet works on my wheels)

I clayed it, used 2 coats of Z5, then 3 coats of Z2. All with plently of Z6 in between!

I bought some white cotten towels(2small, 2 large), and cut the ends off them.

Lookin good :)

Actually i have the exact same mudflaps but blue bowties.. i just havent installed them yet..

If i could ask a favour.. could you take a full shot of your truck on kind of an angle so i could see what the mudflaps look like installed if thats not too much trouble...

Actually i switched from Meguairs to Mothers.. I love the difference so far.. Did the truck and the vette on the weekend and got a crap load of compliments on both.. I m workin my way up to Zaino :)

Can I ask you something though Zane?

Does it Raise the "Selling value" on it?

I can't imagine why you'd be doing this if you're planning on getting rid of it as soon as you say you are. (Other than the reason I just asked)

Just curious:)

Actually, i only have the flaps on the front! I haven't figured out how to attach the rear yet! :(

When you switch to zaino, make sure to clay the sufaces, to get all of the other wax off.

well, i'm hoping it will have a positive impact on the value. Compared to the paint of a "normal" truck like mine, the paint is MINT.

I'm hoping to get at least another couple hundred to a thou for the hard work.

Man, that thing looks good. I am planning on getting some next month. I have to get the Line-X, tool box, and splash guards this month. I can't wait to get that shine. By the way are those BFGs? I like the white letters in.

I agree with everyone concerning Zaino. I spent last weekend applying it to my wife 2000 Grand Prix GT and I must say it's awesome. It takes a little extra time, but heck, we all love our vehicles or we wouldn't be spending time on forums like this. And I want the best for my truck. It's a little on the pricey side, but I don't mind. If you think of the amount of money we all spent on our rigs, it's a small price to pay to protect their paint. I'm a little on the lazy side and I couldn't wait to apply it, then wait and wipe it off, and  then see how shiney it got with each progressive coat.

The Silverado is next, and boy is that going to be a job. A little more sheet metal to deal with than a Grand Prix. But I'm sure it will be worth it.

2 cents from a newbie...... to this site anyway

BTW- This is an awesome site!!!!!!
