Well I put on my DJM lowering shackles Monday morning..

First of all it was not a hard job but having a extra hand there will come in handy...

I love the look but it will look even better when I put some 20" wheels on it..

The truck rides much smoother now that what it did.. I have read about the drive shaft alignment and I think that mine is better now than it was from the factory... I could feel a slight vibration at highway speeds and now it is gone.. This really had me worried because I was thing it would get worse.. But to my surprise it got better...

Oh The truck is a 07 classic Crew Cab..

If you don't have one you WILL need a 21mm deep well socket.. And a 21mm wrench (or adjustable wrench)

You will also need two jack stands and a jack.. The hitch will have to come off (if you have one) there is only 6 bolts.

Last but not least set aside a hour and you will be fine...

Last but not least set aside a hour and you will be fine...

really just the jack as you don't have to lift the tires off the ground to install or remove the shackles or tow package. justlift the weight off the leaf springs. my tow package has 8 bolts but what's two more. i've put 3 different sets on mine so i can say go ahead and do it because it isn't hard to do and may not even take you an hour.lol, jd

an Hour....finding 5 min when its not raining here is a chore in its self...well I guess its not that hard...all I have to do is look outside when I'm at work...it only seems to rain when I'm on my way home.
