I'm picking up one tomorrow. Looks like your getting 500-750 more off than me. Unfurtuantly, they have the only one here, and they know it. I wanted a stripped Denali but seems all of the 07's due here in the next month are all fully loaded less roof rack, so I don't have much of a choice. Plus ordering an 08 is out of the question as they build them in lots, so the 08's might not arrive till fall, and I can't wait. They're giving me a little more than I expected for my trade so I'm OK with the deal, and can't wait to hit the road in it. Good luck.

Is that a 2WD or AWD? Nav? DVD?

In any event, you guys are going to love this ride. Ive had mine for 3 weeks now. Its a beast. I gets a lot of attention and chicks dig it.

LOL!!!! I'm not getting mine for 'the chicks'. It's the only equal to SLT unit here, plus I like the 6.2 over the 6.0, and it rode fantastic. Best of luck with yours.

I just talked to the dealer and this is AWD with U3U option Audio system with navigation, AM/FM stereo with MP3 compatible CD player and multimedia navigation.

I have not phisically checked out the truck yet.

I wouldn't wait too long, that is a good deal.

I agree. I have 2WD (it never rains in So Cal), with NAV, rear sliding window and no DVD and my truck had an MSRP of $44,275. I got $3,000 in incentives ($1k for trade in, $1k mfr., and $1k dealer incentive) so I paid about $41k. I was also able to make a really good deal for my trade in....I am not sure I could have sold it for what they gave me.

I would say that if its black it wont last long on the lot....I thought I wanted a white one until I saw it in person - that much chome and white does not look right to me....and the rear bumper is white, which also looks wierd IMO. My local dealer has had a white one on the lot for a month and a half...no takers.

You mean you paid MSRP? No wonder they gave you a good deal on your trade. Here in MN, I could order one at invoice, and still get any incentives.

You misunderstood. I paid 3k less than MSRP.

No, I understood you. You paid MSRP less $3k in rebates. That is still paying MSRP to the dealer since rebates come from the factory. I paid Invoice for my truck AND got $2k in rebates (loyalty and Trade-in bonus) which is what was available at the time. I also got 0% for 36 months. So, technically, I paid $2k UNDER invoice based on bottom line numbers.

Although I still think you got a pretty good deal, 4K more than mine, but you got the 6.2/6 spd and NAV. Although you did only get 2WD, right? I think you could have done better by ordering, at least here in MN you could have. Not sure about So Cal?

When I figured my pricing, the Denali version of my truck (same equipment with the 6.2/6 spd being the only difference) It would have cost me about $3-$4K more, but that was with AWD.

The main reason I stuck with the SLT was due to lack of color choices in the Denali. I love black, but don't want the constant hassle of keeping it clean and I don't care for White and Silver is only so-so, plus my wife's car is silver, I really wanted Gray. Plus the extra $3-4K for the 6.2/6 spd vs the 6.0/4 spd didn't seem worth it to me.

Never mind - I see $37k. Its a little harder to bargain when your dealer has the only one in 500 mi radius and people are drooling all over it. I am very happy with the deal I got, especially given that I probably love my truck more than my girl right now. The 6.2/6 speed combo is fantastic.

Posted
Ok, so what did you pay for your truck?

Invoice was $38,929 less 2K = $36,929

but then I added $2k in accessories...LOL (and another $750 since...Geez, these things are spendy huh?)

LOL, I hear ya there, I bet your Denali never whines or nags you huh? That alone is priceless.

Geez, I hope my wife isn't reading this.....LOL

PS wasn't trying to burst your bubble, sorry. As long as you are happy with the deal, that is all that matters. Plus you didn''t have to wait 7-8 weeks for it like I had to.
