Sorry For The Same Ol"more

I've been trolling here for awhile and have been reading the countless posts on torsion keys and cranking the bars.

But, I still have a question.....

I just measured my newly purchased truck, a 04' 2500HD 6.0L, and the front measures 38.5" and the rear is 41". The truck came with brand new 265's which are a little puny I will admit but I'm gonna run these while I save up for my lift.

My question is this, I really don't wanna spend the money on a alignment and I love the ride of this truck (plus the wife drives it more than me, so I don't wanna hear her bitch about the ride if I mess with it) so I was wondering if I can lower the rear a inch or two to level it out. I def, can spare that much with the amount of clearance there now.

I don't haul cars to travel trailers, just a 6x12 work trailer every so often or a 4 wheeler in the bed.

Thanks alot guys, love the site and hope to learn as much as possible

Sounds like you may want to keep it stock until lift or tire replacement , if you really want it level now just adjust t-bars but to get a full 2.5 inches will effect ride.

You might want to check on getting a leaf removed in each of the rear springs or de-arch them to lower the rear. If you crank the t-bars, don't go over 2 inches. get an alignment and longer shocks to maintain ride quality.
