So, Who's Upgrading?

I work as a Tech at a large GM dealer, and we are in the midst of this Transformer gimmick sale.

Who's gonna take advantage of these savings now...they don't seem to bad.

I know the trucks offer between $1000-1750 in rebates, PLUS 0% financing...

That's not too shabby.

Personally, I'm gonna use some ol' fashioned patience right now.

Today, I priced this:

2007 NBS Sierra Crew Shortbox, Z-71 4x4, SLE-1 options, fairly loaded up with add-on SLE-1 packages.

MSRP..$36,187

Right Now...my GMS price is $28,633

But I'm waiting for GM to issue bigger rebates, so I can pick yp a loaded SLE-2 for dirt cheap... :)

I wish mine were a transformer. :chevy:

Mine is. It turns my frown upside-down every time I hammer on it. Transforms my mood :bs:

And I'm working to pay this one off as fast as I can...I really want a GMT-900. It's going to be a while though. Maybe the Silverado SS will be out by then :)

This 1750 rebate sucks... even worse than the 1500 that they were putting out last month. I am ready to buy with cash in hand, 50% down... but I need better rebates than this bulls***! Come on GMC, quit F-ing around and give me some cash off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to, I'm working with a couple of dealers now trying to get quotes on a NBS Sierra. but unless they come up with some better rebates or I win the lottery I can't afford it. I may end up just waiting till the end of the year when they're trying to get rid of the 07's

Don't even screw around trying to negotiate with salesmen. Do what I did, just find your preferred dealer based on location, trade-in value, etc. Tell them you want to order a truck AT INVOICE, not a dime more, then take whatever rebates/incentives that are in effect at delivery. That is what I did in Jan., and I got invoice plus $2k in rebates plus 0% for 36 months. Took delivery in March, no hassles with negotiation. If they even hesitate to deal at invoice, walk out, plenty of other dealers will do it.

I went looking to order a 2008 GMC 4x4 reg cab short box loaded. My dealer was able to locate an exact equipped 2007 in the color I wanted for $3250 off MSRP including incentives plus 0% financing. The zero percent financing will save you $2400 in interest alone on a three year note. I bought now and I have the truck I want now.

was lucky enough to get 1k off for old invoice (invoiced before 2/4) plus $1500 plus GMS. My 34,200 truck was 27K

I am in the process of acquiring an 07 Sierra SLT. The deal I've negotiated is invoice plus $1500 cash back plus 0% for 30 months and they will finance 100% of the purchase price. The current rebate offers from GM expire 7/9/07,so I may delay until 7/10/07 as the rebates may increase and doubtful it will decrease.
