Driver's Door Speaker

I noticed the other day that the speaker in my door is not working...How do I get to it to check the connections, etc.?

 

I noticed a couple of months ago that the speaker had a bad rattle to it that would rattle to the beat of the music...was that a sign the speaker was on it's way out? Can a speaker just stop working altogether like that?

Yes your speaker is probably trashed....I actually had one of the tweeters fall out in my 02. Of course all of that has been replaced by far superior components now. As far as getting to the front speaker you'll have to removed the door panel. A good investment, if you don't already have one, is a $20 Chilton's...it'll show you how to remove most of your interior panels but the door panel is very easy to take off.

Will do...I've got a red Z-71 extended cab w/ black fender flares and a black tonneau cover on the back with a LSU license plate proudly displayed up front. Honk at me if you see me around Bossier!!!
