Song Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 What an awesome color. Some 08's are at Ray Chevy and two are Dark Cherry. I wish I had of waited a year to get that.
Aggiestud Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Is it black with a red metal flake in it, or what? I can't find a good color picture of either of the new colors!!!!!
327BlackBird Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 its like a purple base with the sport red metallic mixed in. Just brighter metalflake in the paint. Looks very cool. I have some paint samples here i got from the carriers at work. The deep ruby metallic is just a darker sport red metallic. No formaldahyde in the paint unlike sport red, therefore we hope not to have the problem of the formaldehyde attracting all the dirt from the mod booths.
sgfootball2006 Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Can we get some pictures of the trucks with the new color?
Aggiestud Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Can someone get us some samples online? I found a few GM cars in the same color name, but I am not sure that it's the same paint code.

sgfootball2006 Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Can we get some pictures of the trucks with the new color? Lol , nope, i like my job Sorry I knew you could not get us any. My question was directed more towards song or anybody else who has access to the trucks in public view and not in a GM employee only area.
rossn2 Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Saw one this morning. Color reminds me of the dark red, almost looked brownish, Dodge used last couple of years on the 1500 series trucks.
