Tire Pressure

Never really thought about it, but was checking the tires the other day. No inflation rating on my Toyo 22" tires. What kind of pressure should they be running. Says max of 50.

That's the maximum pressure of the tire, not necessarily the recommended pressure for an application. If you run 50# psi, you'll wear out an expensive set of tires quickly and have an unpleasant ride as well. Fuel economy might improve though... :D

Manufacturers put the oem recommended psi on the door jamb. You might inquire with a high volume tire shop like DISCOUNT TIRE for their recommendations. I just put 20" LTZ wheels/tires on my '07 Silverado crew cab. They recommend 35# psi for those whereas oem 17" were 32#/38#. If I haul a heavy load I'd probably make some adjustment, but the ride is good at 35# psi and they're not showing any abnormal wear patterns.

They were all about 35 psi. Thought that was fine, but it just wasn't written on the tires. OEM recommendations go away when you modify things.

OEM pressures are a good starting place. If the tires you have now are the same load rating. Try the chalk method and see what the wear patch is.
