Shifting Hard At Highway Speeds

My 2000 g2500 savana shifts hard when im at highway speeds for a while. When i slow down to an speed it still shifts hard. All i have to do is turn off the vechicle and re-start it and its fine with no hard shifting at all. Can anyone help me with this issue. Thank you!

You need to have it scanned for codes. It is going to full line pressure. Fix the code and it will fix the hard shift problem.

Thank you for responding, i have no codes, the ses light dosnt come on and there is no prelim code also. Could there be a code that only the dealer can see ?
