A/c Smell

I have a 2007 GMC Envoy and when I have the A/C on I sometimes get an antiseptic smell from the vents. It doesn’t seem to matter what fan speed it’s on or if it’s on recirculate it just puts off a smell so bad it about burns your nose. I have took it to the local dealer 2 times now and they just put a deodorizer in the vents and say that’s all they can do for it. We just traded a 2005 Envoy in for this so I know it’s not normal or like a new car smell. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
