No, no damage. I have some picture of my back yard, but they arent to good. I need to teach my sister how to use my digital camera.

My mom parked her car under the tree in front of my truck. Woke up that morning with half the tree on her car. The 2 inchs of ice protected the car, so it didnt get hurt :sigh:  We hate the pos she drives and were hoping it would get totaled out so she could get a new suburban

Dig, I moved the truck just in time. I backed it up to the end of the street and by the time I got back to my driveway and big branch fell where the bed of the truck was(its the one in the second picture that landed where my truck is parked). Now, It would have done some serious damage. I should have taken a picture of it, but I wasnt thinking of that. I was thinking I was lucky to get the truck out of the way in time.

Jp, its a Olympus D490. Its a pretty good camera. I dont know why the truck stands out like that. I never did before. Maybe its the new computer, we bought 2 days or so before the storm.

Paul,

Glad to see you made it through the storm ok...what a mess, eh??! I ended up working 42 hrs straight at the fire dept. (first on scene of the Mickey D's fire in Blue Springs last Thursday, if you happened to hear about that) and then have spent the last few days going around picking brush at my family's homes....so needless to say I haven't had much time to check in on here. Hope everyone is doing well, both in KC and out of the area.

I am sure that the tree huggers came by to try to talk you into taping it back together so it will recover in the spring?  And PETA is suing you for not using a hair dryer to melt the ice before it collapsed so the bird nest would be safe?
