07 Nbs Magnaflow

does anyone run a magnaflow system on one of these truck with the fuel managment system? how does it sound or when it kicks down to four cylinders? cause when i called around for corsa systems today the magnaflows are alot cheaper but if it drones i dont want it. my friend had them on his 01 and they sounded great. also a catback system doesn't affect with the warranty does it?

What kind of prices were you getting on the Corsa system? I ordered mine from Autoparts Warehouse dot come for $669 delivered. It's probably more now. MagnaFlow makes a nice system. There's a guy here, goes by Daddy, that put a MagnaFlow Cab-Back on his GMC. You may want to search for his posts and see what he posted about it. I'm pretty sure he likes it quite a bit.

6.0, v max with a magnaflow, left the resonator in place. No drone , very quiet. No 4 cyl mode problmes. Do a search and you ll find more info on the magnaflow model # too..

my prices were about $1200 to $1400, i live up in Calgary alberta.

cerbomark when you said its very quiet you mean just when your crusing or all teh time? cause i want somthing fairy agressive sounding when i stomp on it and and to have a nice tone at idel.

I have a Magnaflow 16746 on my NBS the one that dumps infront of the rear tire. There really isn't any drone and it sounds great. When it drops down to 4 cylinders (mainly on the highway) you can definatley hear the difference and feel it too. the 4 cyl. sounds like a low deep rumble that is very tolerable. and if you have your radio on won't even be able to tell if it does bug you. As for warranty my dealer told me that if an aftermarket part, any kind is the cuase of the failure then it won't be covered under warranty but I wouldn't be to worried with a cat back. It just bolts right on.

it s louder than stock wide open and a little deeper just crusing. It will get a little louder when it breaks in.

My 16741 Magnaflow only drones "a little" when it is at higher RPM's before the A4 shifts. Once at cruising RPM's everything is fine....and everyone (especially me !) loves the sound.

i want to find one .. that just adds a little deeper sound to the stock exhaust note ... i have never cared for the real loud 'rumble' at higher rpm's ... but i know it is almost unavoidable ... i just like them to sound nice from 1k to 3k rpms ...
