Silverado Man....have you tried the free report yourself? It wont give youmuch info but it will tell you the # of "hits" on your car. I believe each registration counts as a hit. How many owners has it had?

i did that and it said i had 12 hits and was wondering what they were. Thats another thing i want to know i dont know how many owners it has had.

the free one is a joke.. its just a plot to get you to pay for it.. my friend tired the free one and it say he had info under all the catagories, turns out the info was that there was nothing reported for each one.

They record every action as a hit including it getting to the dealer I believe. Any record change, update, etc at the MVA or DMV, new owner, blah blah blah.....but I would check if I were you since 12 seems a bit high...

thats why i posted here to see if anyone had it before i ended up paying for it. thanks for your feed back. This is the first car I owned and when i bought I didnt know that I could get the history of it.

I just went ahead and paid the ?.00 (I think thats what it was). Couldnt help myself. I guess the other question though would be, since you already own it....do you REALLY want to know???What if its really bad news, what are going to do? How is the truck now? The old "let sleeping dogs lie" theory....who am I kidding, I'd have to know!!!
