Im really interested in getting Katzkin (or similiar) leather put into my 07 NBS CC Rado. Im wondering how it looks and how this stuff holds up. I know that compared to factory leather its more durable. But I was wondering if anyone has done this to their trucks? Also pictures? Did you install it or have it installed? How much did you pay? Thanks

i have had a car with katskin in it ... the quality is good ... the installation will be as good as the person doing the work ... the guy who did mine got them on with no wrinkles at all .. and looked factory afterwards ... last time i saw the car (sold it to a friend) ... the seats are still looking great after 5 years ...

The Katzkin and other leather kits for the NBS trucks & SUV's have been out pretty much since the vehicles were introduced, and a lot of different dealers and owners have done it. Case in point, check out Ebay at any given time, and you'll always find at least a handful of new Silverado/Sierras or Tahoe/Yukons, etc. with aftermarket leather--unless you were told, the fit and lines seem exactly OEM, and as said, it's always higher grade stuff.

I've seen a few Suburbans with the Classic Soft Trim leather and it looked good. I'm sure they have leather for the trucks as well. Might be worth a look if they are in your area.

The stuff is 10x better then the plastic crap that the factory puts on. It will last the life of the truck and it is real genuine euro leather.

Yep,Anythings better than the cheap crap GM puts in!

I see these trucks come in-n-out of the dealership everyday and the factory stuff looks like crap after just a few months of use.

most of the factory stuff is 75% vinyl ... with only the part you sit on being actual leather .. (even in some cases it is vinyl or 'simulated leather')
