Clock Resets To 1:00

Whenever I turn on my 1997 K1500, the clock has reset to 1:00. When I crank it to start, it acts like it doesn't have enough juice for about a second, then fires right up. All of my preset stations are still saved, and the battery hasn't went dead. My dash only shows between 11 and 12 amps when running. Do I have some kind of electrical problem or is this just a radio issue?

You mean your running 11-12 volts. Your alternator is not charging. You should be getting 13-14v which would charge the battery.

You may also have a corroded or broken ground wire.
