You should just need the cable that connects your ipod to the input. Should be good to go.

Does the cable have a specific name? or can someone send me a link? cant seem to find it online

It's just a cable with a 3.5mm stereo plug on each end. I'm sure Radio Shack has piles of them.. Probably even WallyMart.

Or... 4 - 5 bucks SHIPPED on Ebay

Or you can Google ipod car cable and get a zillion hits

All that trouble for iPod terrible sound quality... Boy is Apple laughing all the way to the bank.

It's a 1/8" male to male cable. Walmart or Target has them cheap assuming your in the USA.

Think of a headphone jack, but on both ends.

Be sure to adjust your volume on the iPod, I would suggest half volume to start so it doesn't distort.

It seems everytime I by a small electronic item I get a wire but I bought this one for my new truck.

The right angle I believe looks nicer.

There ya go Wicked6. The perfect cable... and darn cheap to boot!

However the cord is not as long as I had hoped but it is perfect for everyday use. I was orginally going to install my satellite radio closer to the driver on the center console and run the wire behind the dash but it would need to be twice as long. Sound quality is good to.

I went to Best Buy for this... mine is a black cord (matches the black Ipod) and it's nice and thick. The sound quality from my Ipod Nano is quite nice. Remember to turn the iPod off before leaving the car. And remember to turn the volume way down before you switch from Aux back to Radio.

Those $80 gizmos are a rip-off. All you need is one of these $12 cables.
