How Many Quarts Of Oil 2004 Gmc 5.3 Liter

I'm new to this forum but not cars or trucks. I dont have a manual and cant find a tag anywhere in the engine compartment for any help. Local autostore does not have manual. Im just looking for some help with how many quarts of oil a 2004 gmc 5.3L sierra takes. Any help is much appreciated. Sorry in advance for this question.

My '03 5.3L with the OEM-size oil filter (some guys install longer filters) takes right at 6 quarts. I just dump six in, start it up for a couple minutes, shut it off and check it in 10 minutes or so and it comes out just right.
