I am looking at buying an 06 crew cab 4X4 short box duramax with 75k. What are some of the common things that need to be replaced when they get to this kind of mileage? The whole truck in general. Thanks

injectors, lol... there good trucks but all of those first design duramax's need injectors within there first 100000 miles... but its a 100000 miles warranty so dont worry

even the 06's? i thought the 03's and early 04's had the problems and it was corrected after that

haha, yah your right .. i guess i didnt read how new it was...they are much better now, but still run into problem occasionaly but i wouldnt worry about it... i think those are very good motors, and 75K miles isnt all that much... just keep up on maintnance, fuel filter especially...

I am no Duramax expert but I would think 75K was just getting things warmed up on one of these trucks. I run into 5.3 gas burners pretty often with well over 200K on them and they are running great and dry as a bone underneath.
