Edge Evolution Problems!

I received my monthly onstar test and everything was messed up!! abs systems could not tell the wheel speed, my airbag monitoring system was not responding. Emissions system was throwing up flags, engine and trans , just about evey system on the truck was having some sort of problem!!! Now wheather or not these systems were really messed up idk , because my truck was not giving me any lights on the dash. But onstar reports this to GM and if i keep the edge on there and ignore the emails onstar sends me i imagine it could possibly void my warrenty, or if these systems are actually compromised by the edge then i dont feel confortable driving down the road if my air bag system is not functioning properly. so about and hour ago i returned the truck to stock and unplugged the edge and then pushed my onstar button and had them run a test and all the systems were just fine, but the previous test with the edge showed everything all screwed up. so just wanted to give you guys a heads up and to see if any of you have had a problem like this.

Put the edge program back on and try it again. It may have been a fluke. I had my evolution installed for two months with out any issues.

Keep us posted. My last Onstar report did not flag any "problems" with my systems, but it did say it was "unable to successfully complete a diagnostic test" for the Engine and Emission systems (yellow symbol).

 

I have never received a code and I seriously doubt GM could hold anything Onstar related against you since Onstar is an option and most people do not even have it. What if you don't have e-mail? What if you don't renew after free 1st year?

I thought I read something somewhere about problems if OnStar decides to do one of its diagnostic tests while you're flashing the PCM.

My Onstar diagnostics havn't worked since August when I installed my Edge.... I just looked back through my Emails, and am missing my September and October diagnostics.
