I think you really have to have a need for the towing mirrors (I.E. Tow alot!!) They "stick-out" so much.

I like my camper mirrors because they allow such good visibility, not the prettiest things though.

Thanks, yeah your right. One thing I noticed was the new mirrors are quieter going down the road. I never realized how much wind noise the tow mirrors created!?

Does Chevy not offer power extender mirrors for towing like Ford where the whole mirror moves out like a foot. I have those on my F-250 and love em. When not towing it comes in close to the cab - when your towing it really goes out there.

They have the same mirrors available. That is what is on my Silverado now. I don't tow much and I am seriously considering changing over to the non-power mirrors. I have had my dealer check mine 3 times and replaced the drivers side soon after my purchase, but they still vibrate more than I like.

Most likely I'll put them on EBAY, and yes if you are interested I can take a couple pics. Look brand new

I thought about the towing mirrors on my rig, but am happy I didn't go with them because they would've been overkill for my trailer and would've gotten bumped into while walking around the truck in the garage

Yes it's very easy, it took a total 45 minutes to remove and install the new mirrors. What I found is that the mirrors don't actually plug into your door switch directly, their is a connection between your mirrors and the door switch, just pull connector apart and plug new mirrors in!

I've got a 2007 GMC Sierra with regular power mirrors and I've been wanting to switch out to the tow mirrors. I'll be happy to swap if you're still interested.

Vmax!!!!!!!!!! Your pics arent linked anymore, I need to figure something out for towing mirrors, but d**n I love my painted mirrors! I had CIPAs on my HD, and they worked fine with my huge camper, maybe I will just go that route again
