Don't have one but I did see one at the local GMC store on a truck and it looked pretty good. Looked like any one of the many aftermarkets designed like it. I'm sure GM is just farming the production out.

FYI, Soft covers are notorious for not lasting too long. I'd make sure what kind of warranty they offer on the cover fabric before plopping down 400 bucks.

It did look good on the truck.

How long is "Not too long" When I sold my 98 i gave the cover to a buddy who is still using it, When I sold my 02 gave that cover to another buddy who is still using it. All my trucks live outside in the summer and winter and the covers have always looked great. I haven't looked at the GM cover but my Access covers have lived very long lives.

As a company that has sold thousands of them over the last 20 years, we have replaced a rather large percentage of them due to failure. All different brand names have their problems. Yes, there will always be somebody out there that had his since grandma was a little girl and intends to give it to his kids when he dies but that isn't the norm. Soft vinyl exposed to the elements every day will not last forever.

Many do last. A lot has to do with how you care for them. I was just stating what I have seen first hand. I wasn't knocking the cover, just saying that I would make sure of a good warranty if I were buying in case of issues. :)

The GM accessories roll-up soft tonneau cover is made by Access, but it is NOT the same quality as an Access branded cover. How do I know? When I ordered my truck, I told my dealer I wanted an Access brand cover and would accept no substitutions. He told me that the GMC cover was indeed an Access cover. I verified it with the parts guy. I then told my saleman that if he could ASSURE me it was identical to the Access branded cover then I was fine with it, but if I disagreed when I picked up the truck that he would have to swap it out with the Access brand. He said fine and ordered the GMC cover. Well, when I went to pick up the truck, it had the Access branded cover on it. My sales guy checked out the GMC cover and knew I would not be satisfied so he took it upon himself to replace it with the Access brand cover because it is better built. He said the GMC is a "knockoff" and was not built as well. But they were the exact same price!!! ($400). I had an Access brand cover on my 2000 from new and it still looks brand new today. Granted I keep my truck garaged and clean and I treat the vinyl 2-3 times per year. But it's a high quality vinyl and Access has a lifetime warranty (the GM knockoff only gets the std vehicle warranty).

Get the Access brand and accept no substitutions!!!

I'll stand corrected guys. It sounds like the Access cover is the hot ticket in soft covers. From what you say, it really must be better made... I don't want to name brands but we have replaced a LOT of very well known brand name covers that didn't last the length of the warranty.

That's good to know. I haven't sold any Access covers myself.

Put an Access on my '03 when it was new and it still looks/works good today.

For the new pickup I just installed the slightly fancier Access Limited Edition version.

Not a good photo of the cover but shows it rolled up!

I had an access cover on my '04 colorado and loved it. I decided to get the truxedo roll up soft cover for the sierra because i like the latching mechanism better on the truxedo. Just my 2 cents. Either one is good
