Hey Mazz... any issues with that? I'd like to do mine (already have an amp, sub, etc.) but I was worried about noise issues.

First off, I had the install done by a shop. So I don't know the specifics of how it was wired. I had some initial issues with Onstar and interior tone signals (door open, seat belt, turn signal), and delay of the radio turning off was gone, and interior lights did not remain on and fade as normal. The shop had some additional items on order, and once those came in and were installed, everything worked according to design.

 

I also had all six speakers replaced. Everything is Memphis M-Class; speakers and amp. Sound is awesome. It would probably be even better with an aftermarket head unit, but since I have factory XM, I wanted to stay with the factory head unit. I don't have any noise issues at all.
