Help: Autoride Troubleshooting...

Ok, so this is what I have done so far.

 

Carefully removed the Pump assembly wich took a second to realize that it slides out and then you pull it out.

 

Pump has been tested and it is good. 12V bat hocked up and wal'la fired right up...

 

So I started looking at the sensors and disconnected the rod fired up the Denali and started moving the driverside sensor.

Pump did nothing.

No light, not sure which fuse to check.

There is one that is 30Amp that says AIR that is missing completly but I am sure that's not it and may be DuraMax related.

Any ideas before I get her scanned?

I am looking at replacecing the AutoRide with Yukon Stockers. The suspension looks identical.

No help on wether anyone has converted AutoRide to a standard suspension?

I know it's been done before. But replacing the shocks shouldn't be a problem. You'll likely get a message on the DIC since the autoride sensors won't have a signal, but I believe you can have the BCM updated so it stops checking for that feature.

 

As for the pump, it's probably just bad. I had mine go out already and I've heard of many others as well.

I read somewhere that someone tried teh Bilsteins HD's on the Denlai XL and that they were soft and sagged?

So I was a bit worried about converting. The DIC shouldn't be a problem I will place a resistor in the loop and wal'la!
