wassup guys... second post..

Iv been thinking about buying some new rims for my new 07 nbs GMC sierra... right now i got the stock 17" chrome stock rims..

personally there to small and looks wierd on the big wheel wells...

iv seen the texas edition's with the 20"s and they look great. however iv came across a deal for some 22" Fierro concepts Titan rims and tires for 2k..

let me know how u feel about big shinny rims on trucks... and if u think these would look good on a 2007 GMC Sierra NBS sierra 1500 Crewcab Silver Birch.

All opinions appreciated!!!!

THANKS T O DOUBLE

Personally, and this is just me, I don't like the all wheel no tire thing. What you do is you business. Get what you like. Don't compromise what you want just so you can have another cookie cutter truck.

Unless you are like me and like cookies.

And since I am a psyscic (spelling is wrong but you know what I mean) I will answer your next question now.

I am not a great judge of that either since I don't particularly like chrome wheels. I prefer stuff along the lines of this

and this

Those are awesome! Especially if you don't really use your truck to actually haul stuff. I really like the larger low-profile sizes. As someone who makes his living straightening bent wheels, business has really boomed since these larger wheels became stylish. The stiff tire sidewalls neccesary to support a vehicle without customary tire thickness telegraph impact energy so efficiently to the aluminum, unlike those 60 and 70 series tires with several inches of energy absorbing air. Hardly ever get those in for repair. Great price, get'em. If you live in Mid-Georgia I'll look forward to seeing you professionally. :sigh:

I think you should decide if you are building a street truck,(cornering power=short sidewall/performance tires), or a off-road truck( 17" rims with all terrain on/off road tires). :(

As far as wheel size, go whichever way you want. But please don't put on 20"+ wheels AND a lift kit. That look, to me, just speaks "I can't decide if I like the ghetto look or the redneck look so I'll just go with the confused ghetto-redneck with more money than taste look". But I suppose I am a little bit old school since I'm starting to see this trend around my area.

For the wheel you're asking about, I'd say go for it if you're going for the hooptie look. If you're going for the street rod or off-road truck look, go with something smaller. For me, personally, big wheels (over 20") don't really look fast, they give the look that you prefer driving slow down the boulevard cause your lookin' for your ho's, and you don't care about performance cause you spent all your cash on big heavy bling. But like I said, I'm a little old school.

lol this reply made me laugh.. a hooptie? isent like a POS ? i think a brand new truck cant be a hooptie.... but ne ways.. u refer to big rims as "ghetto" lol i think the proper term would be urban maybe? welp im from downtown Houston and not red neck at all... but i see what ur saying a jacked up truck with big rims on it dont make to much sence to me either..

iv been thinkin that maybe 22" might be a lil big... ima try and see if the salesmen can compare the 20"s and the 22"s on my truck two see what i prefer..

thanks for the advise and u got a good lookin truck.

IMO nothing over 20" with a decent ATR tire.

see that is more of the look im shootin for.... say i get the 22's and some nice ATR tires that i would have trouble with the fit?!?!

Humph. Suprisingly enough, I actually like those wheels on your truck Bob.

Thanks, my next tires will probably be 305's

I think the sidewall would be way too skinny, but to each there own.
