New Head Unit Now My Inside Lights Don't Work Right.

I just replaced my factory system with a JVC and I used the SCOSCHE wiring kit that includes the chime box. My lights inside used to come on when I remotely unlocked my door and when I stopped and took the key out of the ignition. Now they don't work that way. The lights still work when I turn them on but they come on automatically like they should. Has anyone else tried this and had similar results? I know some things are wired to work through the original stereo so maybe that is the reason they stopped.

What options do you have on the truck? For example I have heard that if you have On-Star you have to buy a seperate installation kit.

Actually I have to admit this was operator error. The kit works great and for almost $50 cheaper at Walmart vice other online stores. There is a button I never noticed before by the light switch. I guess I hit it while taking off the dash piece to get to the radio. Although I know what it does, now, it isn't labled so I have no idea what it is actually called. I should have known it was something like that because the chimes and everything with new stereo works fine.
