Flowmaster Or Glasspack

i have a 01 reg cab chevy and want to know if the cherrybomb glasspack or the flowmaster super 44 series has the better sound

im just going to cut out the stock muffler and replace it with one of the above so no other exhaust modifications will be made

o and ill probly get a tailpipe tip

I had a super 40 on my s10. It sounded right where I wanted it too. Deep but no drone in cab. When you got on it you could hear it. Now that I moved to the silverado I might do the same. The only bummer was they don't offer the super 40 in stainless steel. I've heard glasspacks wear out over time also.

Id go for the glass pack... its cheaper and I think you could agree that it sounds pretty good for $45.

Glass packs do wear out overtime but they have that raspy agressive tone, flowmasters are more refined but still have a very nice tone. I guess you can look at it as you can just keep replacing glass packs after they blow as they are priced well or stick a flowmaster on and be done with it.

Glasspacks sound like s*** get Flowmaster. Super 40 for deep low tone, Super 44 for deep tone & aggressive throttle, or get the 10 series to be very loud
