Magnetic Oil Pan Heater

Anyone have one? How does it work on these trucks? I had one on my Maxima and it worked fairly well.

 

Just wondering if there is space under the truck to stick one on there.

Should work fine on your truck, but won't work on mine since my block and oil pan are aluminum. Not that it matters to me, cuz I have the factory block heater. I just realized this reply helps you NONE, sorry.

Yeah that was my concern. I was 75% sure it was an iron block (LQ9 variant?). I was hoping the oil pan was magnetic.

Your block is iron,But your oil pan is aluminum.

Hmmm, so they were gracious enough to include an aluminum oil pan, but could not include an aluminum rear differential cover for better cooling.
