Hi All Newbie Here ...

Hi all my names Ryan and im from the United Kingdom (UK). I drive a 1999 GMC Sierra Dually 4x4 with the 454cui 7.4. I found this site whilest searching the net to try and find answers to a few problems I was having with my truck. I own a car forum myself over here but the cars over here are nothing like what you guys have in the States, I love the big american trucks and the Dually I drive just fits on our UK roads. Ive always driven american cars/trucks as can be seen in my sig below. Due to gas prices over here though I have had my truck converted to run on LPG. Great site you guys have.

The Vortec Big Blocks were not easy on gas. My dad had a 2000 that was worse on gas then his pre-vortec 454's and his 8.1's.

But im guessing that gas in the USA is still way way cheaper than over here in the UK, to give you an idea, the fuel has just gone up again this last month and now for regular gas your looking at roughly £1.10/litre now that in USA dollars per gallon is roughly $9.68/gallon. I came back from Phoenix AZ in August this year after a vacation there and the gas was a mere $2.80/gallon now that is what I call cheap, I could afford to run a few big block V8's out there. I pay $0.80/litre for LPG which is nearly 1/3 of the price of gas over here.

welcome to teh site, nice truck youve got. i test drove an 04 sierra one ton with the 8.1- what a beast but it was too much for my needs. you must get some nice/weird/random looks over there with that american beast.
