Installing Aftermarket Dvd/nav With Lux/xm/onstar/cd Changer

I would like to know if I can install a aftermarket DVD/NAV system to a added Lux amp, factory XM, factory On Star, steering wheel controls and added factory lower console 6 disc changer? if so, what all is intaled in doing so.

I want to add the nav unit, a factory lux amp to my non-lux bose, and a factory 6 disc changer... what do I have to do??

you can add all the hardware that you want, what do you have exactly and what do you want to put in? You said that you have the non lux bose (there is already an amp for the bose system) but do you have Onstar, XM and the steering wheel controls already? What head unit is installed in the truck?

You are better off going with BOSE lux NAV and AMP, trying to get the Lux Amp with any system is tuff.

The amp needs a bose HU to turn it on thru the Class 2 bus

Or just go with a nice aftermarket sat nav HU. There are tons to choose from and they've actually gotten somewhat affordable (dependnig on what you want). Not to mention you can get way more features and better sound quality than a factory setup could ever hope for.

Yep everyone above is correct, I should have asked the real question: What is your budget?
