Diesel To Gas ?

After 10 years with diesel trucks, I'm back in gas. With my D-Max's-more air in=engine code,more fuel=engine code,less backpressure=engine code. Great trucks but picky about mods. My question are the gas trucks as sensitive to mod's? Will they set codes as easily as the diesels ? I know this is an extreme "new" guy post but help me out here!

generally speaking, any mods done to a gas engine should not set a code unless it is an off the wall mod.......

You also shouldn't have any codes when doing those mods to a diesel. Induction, exhaust and programming are the basics that shouldn't trigger a code.
