Revo's Vs. Bfg At/ko's

Had dealer install the 285 Revo's on my truck before I picked her up. Really liked the tires -- the look, ride, traction, etc. As they wore I was a little disappointed in the miles I got out of them (~45k). Contemplated different tire the next time around.

Friend and service manager talked me into BFG AT/KO's and boy am I happy. Why...

  1. They look great
  2. Snow traction much better than the REVO's
  3. Quiet ride
  4. Wet traction as good or better

So if you are contemplating new rubber for your HD, strongly consider the good old BFG's!

Yea, There nice tires. You can get 45k+ out of them too for sure if rotated ect....

from what ive heard about the BFG's is that you HAVE to keep the rotated or you wont get very many miles out of them. i dont think 45K is to horribly bad for a more aggressive tire. if you want millage i would suggest some Michilan LTX M/S. There may not the most aggressive tire, but the company i work for puts them on our trucks and we're getting 60,000+ out of them.

You should feel good to get 45K out of the Revos. Mine lasted about half that. I have seen other sets last longer and some the same as mine did. I went back to BFG's, and they seem just as good as the revos so far, but I'll see how long they last.

No contest!

The BFGs are tougher, longer lasting, and far better off road than the Bridgestones. The Revo's do have the edge in ride quality...

The BFGs will go an easy 60K but you do need to rotate them about every 10K to keep that blocky tread from feathering on the edge. If you don't, they will get louder and louder... which can become a pain.
