2008 Siverado 1500 Z71 5.3l I would like to add the DIC buttons on my dash( it is sold as GM accessorie) It it a plug and play deal. Is there a RPO that has to be on the truck to do this.

Plug and Play. Should be good to go. It's for all units except those with RPO SLT, since the DIC is standard on the SLT.

Buy it! I installed mine in about 3 minutes. Lots of good info to be had once it's in.

I saw that DIC accessory and pulled the panel where it'd go. I didn't see a harness in there that'd plug into it. Is it burried in there somewhere?

On the 07 and 08's NBS its pluged into the plastic on the back of the panel. If you dont have a 07 or 08 your can forget about adding DIC controls to the dash.

It's an '07 NBS. I have a $240 dealer credit, looks like I found something to spend it on!

Installed my DIC buttons today! Plug & Play in about 5 min. Also put the underseat storage box in, heavy duty plastic but "NO LID" as shown in the catalog pics.
