Jammed Dvd Cd In Radio

2005 Suburban with NAV radio (no 6 disc cd changer). Wife did not know about the NAV DVD disc being in the only slot, but she did try to do the eject button. When nothing came out, she assumed it was OK to insert a music CD. First try the music CD did not go in but on second try she said it accepted it and took the music CD into the radio. She could not get CD to play nor would it eject. I cannot find a way to get either one or the other to eject. When pushing the eject button nothing comes out but spinning sounds are heard inside the radio. I have tried looking in the slot and I only see what appears to be one CD or DVD. Dealership needs to pull radio out and send to Calif. Probably 4-6 days for turn-around. Any ideas?

I would disassemble it myself. If you tear it up put it back together and then take it to the dealer.

sorry, man that that radio has a sensitive loading/ejecting system... I think it is going to be replaced.........

Similar situation here in the Rainer. There is only one CD in the radio, but when you press the button all you hear are clicking sounds. I'm just going to wait until I make sure I can get the adaptor for onstar before I upgrade the stereo and tear down the current one.
