did anybody ever hit the topspeed of a denali?

i mean after tuning it

Yes and thats assuming its not the 6 speed.

Try doing a search on youtube.com you might see one or two hit 130-135ish and thats about it... (grant it most speedos go up to 120)

The Sheriff's Office I used to work for had 1998 and 1999 Tahoe 2WD Police Package which were able to get up to 132-134ish (tested with radar guns) with it bouncing off the speed limiter but at the same time in overdrive the RPMs were just about as far as they would go. (redlined)

..I thought most of all the gm trucks suvs cut off at 98mph and about 3k rpms. but maybe im wrong just didnt think that denali's made a differance. Unless gm thought due to the suspension and ride hight stuff like that , it could handle it.

The speed limiter can be removed or increased with a tune, which is what these folks have done if they are going over 100mph. And hopefully, they already have tires with the correct speed rating. I've only got mine up to 110 before I had to slow down, but it was still pulling stronger than expected at those speeds. Drag and weight are the big limiting factors.
