Wondering what it takes to remove 4 gauge WT cluster and replacing/upgrade it with a 6 gauge LT1 unit. Part #'s? Computor flash? Just looking into it! Thanks in advance!

I good gipped or gypped. I got a 4 gauge cluster and I see on other models a 6 gauge cluster. What's the story with this? Just speculating here, but wouldn't it cost more money to design, manufacture, store, two different gauges than one?

 

I feel inadequate.

 

And yes, how easy is it to swap the 4 cluster to a 6 cluster? Is it just plug and play? Or do I need a whole new computer module? And reprograming the whole computer system in truck?

No help on the new ones, but on my 04 I pulled out the stock guage and put the cluster from a SS in, it was plug and play and I got whitefaced guages and a transmission temp guage as well. Was well worth it to me.
