Fake Zr2?

A guy that works in the same building I do has a 4X4 S-10 Ext Cab with ZR2 stickers on the quarters. It does not, however, have the elevated ride, fender flares or the 31x10.50 tires. Looks like a regular 4x4 with aftermarket stickers. Did Chevy offer some kind of ZR2 option that didn't include the wide stance and flares? I need to know before I call his bluff.

Stickers are cheap. I think he is pulling a fast one.

My wife used to have a ZR2 and gotta agree with Zembonez. It's a fake.
